Dear Valued Client:
Happy New Year!! We pray that 2022 finds you healthy and happy. It’s been a trying couple of years for us all. There have been changes we have had to make here at Bledsoe, Dodson & Assoc, one of them being we can not longer provide the client packets because the price of mailing them doubled. We have all our worksheets, change or address forms, direct deposit forms, Referral discount forms, list of tax documents needed to file a return and tax law changes are on this website in the Tax Organizer section
A very important issue concerning this year:
If you receive the Child Tax Credit, you had the opportunity to take an advance on that credit. In January 2022, the IRS began sending Letter 6419 to provide the total amount of advance Child Tax Credit payments that were disbursed to you during 2021. Please keep this letter regarding your advance Child Tax Credit payments with your tax records. If you do not receive the 6419, go to irs.gov, under “How can we help you?”, click on “View your child tax credit payments” and follow the instructions. If you are married filing joint, both spouses will receive a Letter 6419, pleases bring both or if using online method, look up child tax credit payments for both. If you choose not to get the advance credit and did not receive Letter 6419 you will be required to sign a form attesting to the fact that you did not receive itLetter 6475 or Notice 1444: early 2022, IRS began sending this letter confirming the total amount of the third Economic Impact Payment and any plus-up payments you received for tax year 2021. In addition, Notice 1444 states your Economic Impact payment. If you did not receive either, go to irs.gov, “How can we help you?”, “Get economic Impact Payment Status”, “Find out which Payment you received”, then “Your Online Account” and follow the instructions.

Dropping off your tax documents at your convenience, mailing, or emailing is encouraged, but we are open for appointments as well. Call the office for an appointment with your Preparer. If you would like to email your tax documents, contact the office for the best email address for your Preparer.
For those of you who have concerns about Covid-19 exposure, we do our best the keep the office sanitized and are attempting to limit the number of appointments overlap as much as possible, but if you would like to drop off your documents we will set a phone appointment for you. By having a phone appointment, it diminishes your risk of being exposed to Covid-19. Also, we do not make our clients wear mask, but respect those who prefer to wear a mask and will comply with wearing a mask while you are in the office but will not make clients who choose not to wear a mask wear it.
Our world and the way we do business is changing,
but we always strive to lead with compassion for everyone.
We are all in this together and must be patient with each other.
Thank you for entrusting us with your business, we appreciate you!!
